Battle begins! Redondo Beach hosted a Tall Ships event with these 2 Pirate ships shooting real cannons. The video doesn't do it justice. The "BOOM" is a lot louder and you feel the percussion. They fought Sat and Sun from 2:30pm-5:00pm. The little sail boats could run circles around them.

24 Weeks

The indian summer continues. Was a wild week, this day was 97 degrees out. 2 days later was 61 degrees in the morning.

Jim's mom (Shirley) visited us in August 2008. While visiting she gave us this old picture when Jim and Shirley were dating. They were 22 years old at the time. That is Disneyland in the background.

OMG

Jim overwhelmed after shopping spree and this is only the beginning. We were driving past a multi-family garage sale, which was actually the Southbaby Twins Club annual yard sale. The sale included about 10-12 families who were selling baby stuff. Of course they each had 2 of everything!!! Great way to kick off our first baby purchases.

As you can see we did do some purchasing.

22 Weeks

Baby is starting to kick. She really doesn't like the seatbelt.

Surf

Was a little warm last night so we had our windows open. We could hear the waves crashing at the beach which was unusual. A few tropical storms have been going through Baja Mexico creating some big waves here.

We took a walk down to the beach at about 6:30am. Pic 1 is a lonely fisherman. Pic 2 & 3 was at water level. Some waves were 5-6'.

Here is an Ultrasound at 19 weeks. We found out we are having a baby girl. Yes she is her sucking her thumb. Watching the Ultrasound on the monitor in the doctors office is much clearer than this picture. We saw her yawn and stretch, was amazing to see how active they are.
